Dear
Parents,
Dandridge
Elementary PTO is an organization endeavoring to improve the educational
environment for our children. There
are a lot of ways we can make improvements.
We want your help in identifying and implementing solutions. Some
potential projects are listed below.
1. Purchase books for teachers’ classrooms
2.
Provide funds for the reading incentive program as outlined by the
reading committee of DES (Dandridge Elementary School)
3.
Recruit parent volunteers for classrooms, cafeteria, etc.~ Teachers want
and need your help!
4.
Continue funding the BIP’s- Behavior Incentive Parties, which are given
each 9 weeks for students with no office referrals
5.
At the end of the school year, provide FUN DAY for ALL students, free of
charge
6.
In December, organize and conduct Reindeer Lane, an inexpensive shop
where students
7.
Continue to communicate with parents via bulletin board, meetings,
newsletters, and website
8.
Provide a staff appreciation luncheon each 9 weeks for ALL employees of
DES
9.
Provide funds for each teacher to spend in his/her classroom
10. Remember each DES staff member on his/her birthday
